Casualties: HMG co - 60 men (including 2nd Plt ldr and 3rd sqd ldr) 10 x MAXIM HMGs, 60 box of ammunition at ANDONG - date unknown. No replacements, men or equipment (18 Aug),
Armor:5 x T-34/85 tanks and 2 x JS-3 tanks observed at UISONG 14 Aug 50.
Vehicles:8th Div had approx 20 x trucks, however, all of them were destroyed by air attacks.
Supplies:No food delivered after ANDONG, 5 Aug 50. Rice taken from farmers. Ammunition (140 round per rifle, 6 boxes of ammunition for HMG’s) received at YANGYANG, 130 rounds ad 3 boxes HMG ammunition left, PW stated 8th Div ammunition dump located in TANYANG. Detail info unavailable.
Enemy Intentions:Objective of 8th Div was T’AEGU.
Additional Information:PW heard from regt CO 13 Aug 50 that there would be 200 North Korean aircraft attacking the enemy by 17 Aug.
